Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment
AccomPath is committed to making its public site and Partner Portal usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnification, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time checklist.
Standards We Follow
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and align our practices with Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) requirements for web content. These standards guide decisions on color contrast, keyboard access, form labeling, and page structure across both the public site and the Partner Portal.
What We’ve Built
Concretely, this means:
- Pages use semantic HTML — real headings, lists, and landmarks — so assistive technology can navigate the structure rather than guessing at it from visual layout;
- Every form field carries a visible, programmatically associated label, and required fields and error messages are announced, not just shown in color;
- Every interactive element — menus, buttons, form controls, and the Partner Portal’s authenticated flows — can be reached and operated using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator; and
- Our color palette is checked for contrast between text and its background so content is readable, including for people with low vision or color blindness.
Compatibility
We build the public site and Partner Portal to work well on current versions of major browsers, on both desktop and mobile devices, and we test key flows using assistive technology as part of our normal review, not only by looking at a page visually. We do not maintain a published compatibility matrix of specific browser and assistive technology combinations, and our testing is more thorough on primary flows — sign in, browsing, ordering — than on older pages or less common edge cases.
Known Limitations
We do not consider the site fully accessible yet, and we would rather say that plainly than overstate our progress. We are still working through older pages and less-common flows in the Partner Portal, including some data-dense tables and multi-step order forms that have not yet had a full manual audit against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria. Where we know of a specific gap, we prioritize fixing it and will update this statement as issues are resolved, rather than waiting for a full site-wide pass to acknowledge individual problems.
Third-Party Content
Some pages link to or embed content AccomPath does not control — vendor product pages, and vendor-hosted images or videos on product detail pages. That content is maintained by the vendor, not AccomPath, and may not meet the same accessibility standard as the pages we build ourselves. We consider this when choosing vendors and link targets, but we cannot guarantee that a third party’s page meets WCAG 2.1 AA.
Feedback and Contact
If you encounter a barrier using the public site or the Partner Portal, we want to know about it. Please tell us what page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what happened, by emailing info@accompath.com. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback promptly and to fix confirmed barriers as quickly as we reasonably can.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is part of how AccomPath reviews new features before they ship, not a separate pass done afterward. As the Partner Portal and public site grow, we will continue testing against WCAG 2.1 AA and updating this statement to reflect where things stand.
